Yes, Raya comes again

Hi my dear friends. How are you? We continue with the next entry that is about my Raya this year.

My family and I are celebrating Raya only at Kuala Lumpur.  I don’t get many raya this year because maybe they think I’m old enough to still get duit raya. This year my father spent his 10th last night of Ramadan at Mecca. This is because he really wants to perform umrah during this time. So that’s mean he’s not spending the 1st raya with us this year. Luckily he got back on the second raya. So we still can go back to our hometown at Melaka to visit our relatives that still had there. I don’t have any granny or grandpa from my father’s side anymore. But at my mother’s side there still left my lovely grandmother that always teach me how to cook.

This year same as last years, my mother and younger sisters baked some cookies. We preparing tart, samprit and butter cookies during the eve of raya. We already bought our baju kurung since before ramadhan. This is because we already know that my father will perform umrah during ramadhan and we want to prepare everything before he going there.

When we want to fetch up my father from airport, my mother drive Unser. My mother really afraid to drive in manual car. I am the co-driver during the day. It quite hilarious because my mom really don’t know how to manage the clutch and the gear. It’s really unforgettable memory for me and my siblings. We really had fun that day when to pick up my father. After my father reach at the airport he drove back home. I really admire my dad because many people would experience jet lag from the long journey but he’s OK. I salute you dad!

Memories of Ramadhan Childhood

Since I was kid, I was celebrating Ramadhan with high full of spirit. This is because I know that my father will reward me something if I’m fasting for the whole of Ramadhan. My sibling and I do not have a wider gap in our age, so it quite happening when Ramadhan because we know that everyday there will always Ramadhan bazaar. I’m very happy when entering month of Ramadhan.

Now I will tell you about my routine in Ramadhan. In the morning, my mom had to wake me and my sibling up for suhoor because we always getting up late. There was sometime that my father took picture of us waking up in the morning. It’s quite shameful for me so I hide that picture. I don’t want anybody to see it because it’s very funny.

When the time of Maghrib prayer is just around the corner, we all one family had gathered together to break fast. We break the fast first with dates. It is so sweet and I love to eat it so many times. It’s really refreshing and quenched my thirst to drink cold water when open fast. After we done eating, we perform the Maghrib prayer together.

My father always asked us to follow him to go to the mosque for the terawih prayer. Like other kids, we are very happy in the beginning of Ramadhan to perform terawih but at the end of Ramadhan we love to play more than praying. I’ve learnt my mistake. I don’t want to play in the mosque during Ramadhan but to gain more reward from Allah.

Ramadhan comes once a year. So, grab the opportunity to gain more reward. But you also have consistent or istiqamah after Ramadhan to make sure that school of Ramadhan is not wasted or just gone with time. That’s all from now. Thank you.

This time I'll tell you about my dearest classmates.

Kamil

First of all I start with Kamil, or his full name Muhd Hayatul Kamil. He is from Puchong, Selangor. One thing that special about him is his Afro style. He’s one of the Dip in Banking association exco. He has Chinese mixed. His sister and I are from the same school. His sister’s is in form five this year.

Baihaqi

Baihaqi or Que Haidar. We called him as ‘Bai’ I had remembered that he once told us that he wants to be an engineer when he grown up. But I think that only his ambition. But now he is pursuing banking same with me so I hope that he’ll become a bank manager one day. For me, Bai is a gentleman.

Haziq

His nickname is baque’. I don’t know where’s the name comes from. He is Kruise president this semester. I also join that club this sem. He comes from Sabak Bernam, Selangor. Although he had already took the position of President of Kruise club, but he also a JPK which is a hostel committee representative.

Akmal

During our induction in part 1 Akmal told us that his nickname was 'Sasuke' which is a character in Naruto cartoon. I think he’s really hard to talk to people. But, now he seems to change. He already talked with us in the class. Akmal is from Klang. He’s quite concern about his style.

Hafizul Akmal

He known as Pejul. He is older than me. He really hardworking this sem because he wants to take fast-track next sem. As we getting know each other, I found out that we are from the same village in Melaka. He is my partner for this sem term paper. We really helped each other to score high mark.

Asyraf

His full name is Muhammad Asyraf Nasrulhaq. We are classmate since part 1. He loves to mumble all around. I wish he could stop talking for an hour during the class. He’s clever but don’t like to show off. He often got high mark in quiz and test in Statistics and Finance subjects.

Farhan

He once asked us to call him Professor. He had joined Silat cekak Ustaz Hanafi maybe since part 1. For me, a man needs to learn martial art skill to protect himself and his family from danger. But for me, I don’t preferably like that type of man. He is caring and always treat me lunch. Do it always yeah Paan. He is also one of JPK Sector A.

Kuchai

Kuchai’s full name is Muhammad Qushairee. He’s a blackberry user. He’s always with his own world. Last sem he with Hafiz Nur (our ex-classmate) always together everywhere but now he seems lost because he don’t have close friend near him. Whenever he has some foods he will offer me and my friends to join him. He’s very kind.

Faris

He loves to laugh out loud. He’s someone who is obsesses with sleep. Therefore he always skips the classes due to his favourite action. He drives from his hometown to Segamat. I don’t know when is the time that I can ride in his car with my friends. Perhaps go to Ledang, I wish.

Shamel

Shamel is Faris’s best friend. He comes from the same school with Ifa. He always bring with him, his latest android. I had long time no see him at the class because he didn’t go to class. He can draw beautiful picture. Could you please draw my potrait Shamel?

Imran

The last boy in my classmate list is Imran. He’s like chipmore. More chip, more fun. Why do I call him like that? That is because I don’t see him in a while. Sometimes he’s there in the class, but in the next classes he missing. I pray for your success, friend.

Okay, enough about the boys we go through my lovely dearest girlfriends. Bihah, Lela, Ifa, Liana, Mira and Aziah. They are all really handful and kind. When I got fever last two week, all of them come to visit me. I’m so touched! Thanks babies.

Bihah

First we start off with Bihah. Bihah also is one of the Korean lovers besides me. Bihah is so nice and lovely. She was born on 25 Sept 1993. Muar is her hometown. I’m older 6 months than her. So, she should respect me and don’t bully me. She is the fourth in her family.  She got 2 sisters, a brother and a younger sister. She wishes she’s the youngest but it is not her luck. I pray for her to be a strong, success in her future. Amin.

Lela

She’s the youngest in her family. She just received new nephew and now she had 2 nephews. I envy her because I still don’t have niece or nephew yet. Lela has 2 sisters and a brother. Lela is from Batu Pahat. Lela is also a Korean lover just like me and Bihah. We always change with each other if we had new movies. She is very clever and easy to catch up in Mathematics subject. Good luck Lela in your life!

Fatin Afifah

We called as Ifa. She is my only closest friends that come from Selangor same with me. All of my closest members are from Johor, only me and Ifa from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Ifa is a nice and soft girl. She’s really good in reading subjects. I always envy her for that part. For this sem, I and Ifa are neighbours. We live next door. I always went to her room whenever I had problems with my study. Thank you so much Ifa.

Liana

She comes from Mersing. I would love to go to Mersing but unfortunately I didn’t have chance to go there. Liana is JPK from Sector B. She really dedicated with her jobs. She always takes good care of her personality and style. She was born on 26th Jan 1993, two month before me. She looks like an older sister that takes good care of her siblings really well. When I got sick, she gave me all her medicine but after that she also got sick and needs the medicine too but she didn’t want it. Thank you pal!

Amira

She comes from Kulai, Johor. All of her siblings are girls. She is really a great cook. There was one day that we have a potluck occasion. Mira and her team had cooked for us Nasi Lemak and sambal ikan bilis. Wow, it’s so delicious. The marvellous Nasi Lemak cannot be credited to Mira’s only but Ifa and Aziah also lend a hand to make that Nasi Lemak. I wish one day I could come to her house and she serves me with so many delicious foods that she can cook.

Aziah

Lastly, my girlfriend is Aziah. She comes from Selangor. She is same like me the eldest among her family. She got asthma since baby. I pray for her health to be healthy and strong. Although she is in small sized but she is chubby. I’ve heard someone called her Lisa Surihani because they said that she looks like Lisa from the side view. I admit it because I’ve seen that side of Lisa in Aziah face. Aziah, I hope that you can take good care of yourself and be independent baby!

Subjects this semester

Assalamualaikum guys. How are you doing? This entry I’ll tell you about all my subject that I’ll taking this semester. There are 7 altogether but only 5 that will end with final examination paper. Want to know more, read it out.

HKR 221: Islamic Family Institution

First I'll start with my co-curricular subject. HKR 221 or Islamic family institution part 2. This sem, Ustaz Syazali Effendi teach me on how to manage my family later on if I’m married one day. HKR 221 is one of the subjects that don’t have to take final exam paper. Marks will be given based on presentation, attitude in the class and memorising several surah from Al-Quran. Ustaz Syazali is really sporting and open minded. For him, there is no such thing as secret  in learning about family institution especially in Islam.

CTU 241: Fundamentals of Islamic Economy

Next we continue to CTU 241, fundamentals of Islamic economy. This subject under university requirement, so everyone that pursue diploma part 3 in UiTM has to take this subject as a compulsory requirement. I’ve learnt CTU since part 1 but this sem it teach me on Islamic economy. Ustaz Nazruddin Hashim is my lecturer for this subject. When I first enter this class, I think this subject will be difficult from past sem CTU. But I’ll learn it very hard. Ustaz Nazrudin told us that he is a celebrity. He is one of the ustaz that give speech on air at RTM at 5 o’clock in the morning. But unfortunately I never watch him on air, so I hope later I can watch his session.

BEL 311: English for Academic Purposes

We move on to BEL 311. Bel 311 or English for academic purposes is taught by Mr Izuan. For me, Mr. Izuan had lot of ideas on how to attract his student to love the subject his was teaching. Bel 311 has pre-requisite that is Bel 260. Alhamdulillah, last sem I’ve passed my Bel 260 so I can proceed with my Bel 311. This sem we got a task to do term paper on fee topic. Bel 311 consists of group discussion (20%), online quizzes (10%), and term paper (30%).

BAB 101: Arabic language

BAB 101 or third language Arabic language. I more prefer to take Arabic because I’ve learnt Arabic since kindergarten. So it was deep in my soul. Ustaz Rozman teach us and he is very versatile. He started the class with teach us how to pronounce first only then we learn how to write. Learn Arabic is very useful for my friends and I because it can be use when we are going to perform hajj someday. Moreover, Arabic also can be use to understand the Quran. I hope that this knowledge will be in heart forever.

QMT 181: Introduction to Statistics

We are taught by miss Nordia Azlin, we call her miss Diya. She is very nice and soft. She always asks us to finish the tutorial that she had given to us to score statistics. Statistics needs a lot of calculation and drawing because we need to draw pie chart, histogram and o-give. Miss Diya tells us that statistics is not a killer subject if you do all the tutorial. I determined to score for QMT 181 this sem.

ECO 211: Macroeconomics

ECO 211 Macroeconomics is continuous to the subject macroeconomic that I learnt last sem. Macro tells us about national expenditure. This subject was taught by miss Diana Mazan she’s very kind and willing to help us if we are in trouble. My first impression on this subject is going to be easy this sem because i’ve the basic of micro last sem but unfortunately it was tougher and need more understanding to catch up this subject. It is fun to learn about how Malaysia organise and conduct it’s sources to generate income for the nation. There are many sectors in Malaysia that contribute to the national income. I love to study macro although it’s quite tough.

Lastly, FIN 242 or fundamentals of finance. Finance is taught by Mrs. Saliza. She tends to check our assignment when she asked to do that. She said without enough exercise we cannot score in exam so she always gives us 10 questions from previous sem. It quite a big number. But I always discuss with my friends about how to get the answer and they help me a lot. I cannot catch up at the beginning but I’ll boost later in my test. InshaAllah. Pray for me. Lively Roomate

What’s up guys? How are you? I’m fine although there are many programs this week. This week I want to share with you guys about my roommate. There are many interesting things about her that you’ll continue to read my blog till the end. She’s very an active, cute and lively girl. She’s younger a year than me. Let me introduce you with my one and only roommate for this semester, Azira Nabilah. Her nickname is Nona as she got that since her baby.

She had just celebrating her 18th birthday on 24 June 2012. Happy Birthday Nona! Sweet 18 and stay lively okay. Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru is her hometown. She is the youngest in her 5 siblings. She’s now taking pre commerce before pursuing her study in diploma. She loves to hang out with her friends and watch movie. She always brings her friends to our room. I don’t bother much because I also bring my friends sometimes. It’s fair, right?

The most interesting about her is she never ate rice since baby. Isn’t it weird? I cannot understand how come she can be very active without Malaysian most preferred food that gave us a lot of energy. She loves to eat spicy chicken Mc deluxe and chocolates. She is a very particular person about cleanliness. I’ve many times saw her scolding her friends because they sit on her bed and made it become mess. She’s very strict when organising her stuffs.
